- In this sequel to the 2006 hit THE PINK PANTHER, Steve Martin is back as the less-than-smooth Inspector Clouseau. This time around Clouseau is commanding a special squad of international detectives; a ”dream team”, comprised of alluring Italian hound Vincenzo (Andy Garcia) and practical, all-British Chief Inspector Randall Peeperidge (Alfred Molina). The three join forces to chase down The Tornado, an accomplished thief who has a dangerous penchant for historical artefacts such as the Turin shroud or the legendary titular diamond. At the inspector’s side we find the ever reliable Ponton (Jean Reno), as well as a string of bizarre characters, including beautiful secret agent Sonia Solandres (Aishwarya Rai), faithful assistant/girlfriend Emily Mortimer and bon-ton enthusiast Ms. Berenger (Lily Tomlin). Jeremy Irons completes the cast, showing off his unexpected comical talents.
