Long established as one of the world’s most incendiary live bands, Biffy Clyro will document last year’s landmark show at Wembley Arena by releasing their first ever live album and DVD ‘Revolutions // Live At Wembley’ on June 27th on 14th Floor Records.
The release ‘Only Revolutions’ catapulted Biffy Clyro into rock’s premier league. The album originally entered the charts at #8 when it was released towards the end of 2009, but the album’s enduring popularity saw it peak at #3 almost a year later. The album has sold 600,000 copies in the UK alone and includes a succession of hit singles in the shape of ‘Mountains’ (#5), ‘Many of Horror’ (#8), ‘That Golden Rule’ (#10), ‘The Captain’ (#17), ‘Bubbles’ (#34) and ‘God and Satan’ (#36).
‘Revolutions // Live At Wembley’ will be launched with nationwide cinema screenings of the film commenced from June 27th. Two special screenings at the Edinburgh Picture House (June 29th) and London’s Odeon West End (June 30th) will also feature an acoustic session from the band.
Bonus features on the DVD include documentary from 2010’s T in the Park, track by track commentary from the band and 5.1 audio.
