    Release Date: 01 November 2010

"Greatest Hits" is a two disc compilation album of the best tracks released by the legendary American hard rock band Bon Jovi, containing material spanning the entirety of their musical career.
The album features classic hits such as "Livin' On A Prayer" and "You Give Love A Bad Name", as well as two brand new songs, "This Is Love, This Is Life", and "The More Things Change", both of which were written specifically for this new compilation album.

Same As before...with a little bit more

Having already been a Greatest Hits package released in 1994 entitled "Crossroad", I was hoping that this new compilation would feature the songs from 1995 onwards. It does, but also 14 of the songs that were already featured on the '94 release, as well as 4 brand new songs made specifically for this new album. The 4 new songs compared to the older Bon Jovi we all know are fairly weak. Having said that, the best of the bunch is "What Do You Got", which after a time has grown on me considerably, but the other 3 I feel very let down with. Maybe it's just me. Overall, It's a good album to have if you have only just discovered Bon Jovi, but if you want to hear the band at their best, I'd purchase albums such as "New Jersey", "Keep The Faith", "These Days" and "Slippery When Wet". Those albums are must haves for any rock fan.
