Description:	Right off the bat, get this straight: This double-LP release, comprised of live recordings from Pueblo, CO, in 1966, is not the same as the 'Round Midnight box on King Jazz, which has all of this material and a good deal of other stuff too. Neither is it the same as the Challenge release title Round Midnight, which has entirely different material. And let's not even bring up the Verve release Jazz 'Round Midnight, which is something else again. Anyway, the music is pretty good, and although the sound quality is not optimal, it doesn't present any major problems. Baker plays the fl�gelhorn on this solid and straight-ahead set, including material by Thelonious Monk (the title track) and Miles Davis ("Milestones"). He only sings on one tune, "Forgetful." If you're on the fence about getting these tracks in this format, there are good liner notes by Roy Carr as a tiny bonus, although they offer more an overview of Chet Baker's life than comments about the music on this particular LP. ~ Richie Unterberger
