    Description

    Release Date: 28 November 2011

"Moonfleet And Other Stories" is the eighteenth original album by the Irish/British singer/song writer Chris de Burgh, originally released in 2010 and before now has previously been unavailable for purchase anywhere other than Asda.

This record compiles both parts of the previously released album, including the original eighteen track "Moonfleet", as well as the six track "Other Stories". The "Moonfleet" album was written based upon the book of the same name by J. Meade Falkner, which was first published in 1898, and is a tale of adventure, smugglers, pirates, treasure and love set in the village of Moonfleet, Dorset. The "Other Stories" tracks are all original songs and the title of this relates to de Burgh's 1975 album "Spanish Train And Other Stories".

An incredible conceptual album by the man who brought you the world renowned song "Lady In Red", and who manages to bring a well known story to life with his music. Chris de Burgh is a musical genius, of which this well written album is proof. (Cat Emerson)
