Diana Ross' second self-titled album was first released in 1976, and concluded a notable period of studio inactivity following 1973's “Last Time I Saw Him”. The album itself contains a number of hits including "Theme From Mahogany", "I Thought It Took a Little Time", "Gonna Be a Fool Forever", and "Love Hangover". Now remastered and expanded as a 2CD set, this release includes a wide variety of added bonuses such as single mixes, non LP mixes, the rare promotional single "Coming Home", and alternate mixes of virtually the entire album. Enhancing the package further still is the inclusion of never before heard songs like "Harmony" (a cover of the Elton John song of the same name), "Go Where Your Mind Is", and "Le Lo Li". Completing the package is a superb 28 page booklet that features detailed song annotations, the story of the making of the album, and a series of photographs. (Adam Bibby)
