    Description

    Release Date: 14 November 2011

"Take Care" promises to be a candidate for album of the year, with Drake stating that he has 'taken his time' with this project, a process which he was unable to do with his debut album "Thank Me Later" due to the demand for his music. Although "Thank Me Later" was a success commercially, there were songs on the album that Drake stated had been rushed and didn't have his full care and attention.

The lead single from "Take Care" is "Headlines", a track which gained success instantly, spawning millions of views on YouTube in its first week whilst also charting on the billboard hot 100. Contributors to the project include the likes of Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd and Outkast icon André 3000 (whom Drake has stated a desire to work with on numerous occasions).

From the mix tapes and featuring on other artist's songs, Drake has finally made it to the big time, and "Take Care" will be another step towards cementing his status as one of the best of his generation. (Trevor Pratt)
