"A Dramatic Turn Of Events (Deluxe Edition)" is the deluxe version of the eagerly anticipated eleventh album by the legendary American progressive metal band Dream Theater, and is the follow up to their 2009 album "Black Clouds and Silver Linings".

The first disc is the album itself, which stays true to their almost ethereal styled swells of melody, punctured by lead singer James LaBrie's distinctively gruff, throaty vocals, riding upon choppy guitar progressions, riffs and breakdowns to the smattering of drum beats.

This disc also features the brand new single "On The Backs Of Angels", which is an almost nine minute long masterpiece of pure, unadulterated Dream Theater mayhem. The second disc of this release features a special documentary entitled "The Spirit Carries On", so if you thought this record couldn't get any better, it just did. (Cat Emerson)
