    Description

    Release Date: 15 September 2008

"The Quilt" is the brilliant fourth studio album by the innovative American hip hop and rock fused musical outfit Gym Class Heroes, released in 2008 as the follow up to their 2006 record "As Cruel As School Children".

This album showcases the band's distinctive and unique style of music, as they have perfected the blend of rock, hip hop and indie genres to create their own signature sound that can encapsulate and work with any type of lyrical content or ignite any emotion they desire within the listener. Whilst sometimes delving into more angst-ridden ends of the musical spectrum, Gym Class Heroes tend to stick towards the more upbeat and uptempo styles, as is their forté.

This record includes the hit singles "Peace Sign/Index Down" featuring iconic American rapper Busta Rhymes, "Cookie Jar" and "Guilty As Charged" which features the talented British singer Estelle on the chorus. As well as these brilliant singles, this album is chock full of tongue in cheek, witty lyrical content and catchy choruses, showing Gym Class Heroes evolving their music for the better, with something to appeal to all fans.
