Il Divo - The Promise [Luxury Edition] CD

"The Promise (Luxury Edition)" is the double disc version of the number one fifth studio album by the operatic pop group Il Divo, released in 2008. "The Promise" is the follow up to their fourth studio album "Siempre", which was released in 2006.

The first disc is the album itself, which encapsulates this brilliant and ingenious multinational vocal group's diversity when it comes to performing songs, as they cover tracks from all genres and time periods throughout musical history. This album contains eleven songs, seven of which are covers, such as Frankie Goes To Hollywood's hit "The Power Of Love", Leonard Cohen's world renowned "Hallelujah", and ABBA's iconic "The Winner Takes It All". The other four tracks on this record are brand new songs written specifically for the album: "La Promessa" (Italian), "Enamorado" (Spanish), "Angelina" (Spanish) and "La Luna" (Italian).

This luxury edition of "The Promise" also includes a second disc, a DVD, which includes music videos of songs featured on the album, such as "The Power Of Love", "Hallelujah" and "Adagio".
