Everloving Records is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a re-release of its first title – Jack Johnson’s debut ‘Brushfire Fairytales’, distributed via Fontana.
Grammy Award winning producer Bernie Grundman has re-mastered this record, improving the fidelity of the album and re-introducing it to both old and new fans of Johnson.
Label owners Andy Factor and JP Plunier took a chance on the unknown singer/songwriter/surfer in 2001, but a year after its initial release the record had sold upwards of 100,000, stoking interest from major labels and leading to the Brushfire/Universal collaboration that is still going strong today.
