"Band Of Gypsys" is the self titled live album (which was recorded over two seperate nights at the Fillmore East), by the blues rock band Band Of Gypsys which was formed and led by Jimi Hendrix after the dissipation of his band The Jimi Hendrix Experience, and is the last album ever authorised and released by Hendrix, as he died just three months later.
