"The Complete Studio Albums Collection" is an eleven disc box set encompassing the first eleven studio albums by the legend that is the Canadian singer/song writer Leonard Cohen, whose musical career has spanned over 50 years.
This collection covers 37 years of his legacy, from his debut studio album "Songs Of Leonard Cohen" released in 1967, to his eleventh studio album "Dear Heather", which was released in 2004. Each disc contained within this box set has been remastered from the original analogue tapes to bring you, the listener, Leonard Cohen in the best quality as can be achieved in this day and age.
Featured in this box set are some of his most well known singles from the various albums in this collection, such as "Suzanne" in 1967 and "The Stranger Song" in 1971 from "Songs Of Leonard Cohen", "Dance Me To The End Of Love" and the iconic and endlessly covered "Hallelujah" released in 1984 from the album "Various Positions", as well as many, many more.
Cohen has been noted for his extraordinary talents at song writing, and has also partaken in the writing of poetry and novels, as it is extremely rich and diverse in the topics he explores within his music. The genres he has based his musical sound upon are more rooted in folk in his earlier releases, whereas he evolves and progresses in later years and incorporates more modern elements, such as pop, and even provides a more contemporary take on cabaret in some areas.
