Over one hundred performances are included on this special DVD including such disparate but classic acts as Tim Buckley, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, The Pet Shop Boys, Siouxsie and the Banshees, David Bowie and BB King.
Volume One also includes specially filmed introductions by the show's key presenters - Richard Williams, Bob Harris, Annie Nightingale, Mark Ellen, David Hepworth and Andy Kershaw.
