This is the eagerly anticipated self titled debut album by the 2009 X Factor runner up Olly Murs. Despite not actually winning the competition, Murs gained a rather large and devoted following of fans from his energetic and heart warming performances on the show, and they have all been waiting with bated breath for this first album of his.

The album is a soulful masterpiece that resonates every beautiful tone of Olly's voice and vocal range with every sweetly written lyric that he sings, allowing his singing abilty to shine through in each song. Soft and slow, this record is an understated production focussing mainly on the emotion and beauty that Olly ignites within his music, allowing each swell of melody to evelope the listener. The musical arrangements are delicately wound with uplifting pop beats and sweetly catchy choruses.
