Queen's fifteenth and final studio album "Made In Heaven" was released in 1995, almost four years after the tragic death of the legendary Freddie Mercury. As a result of these circumstances the album was the product of many years of hard work on the part of the remaining band members with the material which was left to them, drawn either from the frantic recording sessions that took place during Mercury's last months or through the reworking of solo material. Despite these challenges the album exceeded commercial and critical expectations selling over 20 million copies worldwide.
The album opens with the brief but well executed "It's A Beautiful Day" but the heart of the album is found within "Heaven For Everyone" and "Too Much Love Will Kill You" which can stand against any other song in the bands expansive catalogue possessing a haunting beauty of their own. As an whole this album in a remastered form should be considered compulsory listening by fans of the band due to it's unmistakable significance as the closing chapter of Queens studio recordings.
