Red Hot Chili Peppers are back with their tenth studio album “I'm With You”. With the departure of the bands long-serving guitarist John Frusciante, and the arrival of Josh Klinghoffer, the stage is set for the first album since “Stadium Arcadium” (2006).
The first single to be released on radio was “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” on July 15th and if it's anything to go off, the album is going to be just as awesome as any other. The standard has not dropped, and with an unusual five year hiatus since their last studio release, Chili's have had more time to perfect this album than ever before.
There is a mutual feeling amongst the band and the fans that “I'm With You” is the start of something new. The beginning of “a new band” (Chad Smith, drummer) with a new guitarist, and these are very exciting times if you are a Chili's fan. (John Minard)
