'Liber Dogma' is the wonderfully enjoyable electronica album from techno outfit The Black Dog. Journeying through vast oceans of dark, strobing techno, and jerky yet light infusions of electro, this release sees TBD return to their traditionally left-field roots.

Beginning with the broken beats and mystical synths of 'Dark Wave Creeping', 'Liber Dogma' flaunts effortless diversity. Gracefully flittering between four-to-the floor, mesmeric bangers, dark, industrial breaks, and deep, progressive drives, tracks such as 'Black Maria', 'Bird Siren', and 'Single Light Focus' present rifts of captivating renaissance techno built to fascinate.
By the time we reach the Detroit-inspired 'Hype Knot 7', the spangled synths and pulsating basslines of 'Drop Kick Kali', the beautiful ambiance of 'Eden 353', and the energetic rhythms of 'Steam Caliphate' should have you all tangled up in a magnificent electronic labyrinth. From then on 'Feeder Rub Out', and the escalating 'Worship: The Drum', only further the whole indulgent and contrastive experience, ending with the majestic 'Car Crash Magick'.
The joy of 'Liber Dogma' is in the way TBD have created it as one seamless mix, so your journey into sound only ends when you decide to step back into reality and press pause. Thoroughly enjoyable from the first minute to the last, and not one to be missed! (John Minard)
