Fans of the hugely iconic psychedelic-rock group, The Doors, now have the chance to celebrate 40 years since 'L.A. Woman' – the band's sixth and final studio album – with this double disc anniversary edition.

Together with all the classic remasters on disc one (e.g. 'L.A. Woman', 'Love Her Madly', and 'Riders On the Storm'), the second disc contains unearthed alternative versions of many album tracks, as well as a never-before-heard recording 'She Smells So Nice', before ending with the blues standard 'Rock Me'. In addition to the session out-takes, studio dialogue can be heard between tracks and, besides feeling like a live album, it gives the listener a sense of perception and an insight into the wonderful minds of Morrison, Manzarek, Densmore, and Krieger.
This is the perfect addition to the record collection of both long-time fans and those of you who are just looking to get into the marvelous music of The Doors. (John Minard)
