"Junk Of The Heart" is the eagerly awaited third studio album by the renowned British indie rock band The Kooks, and is the follow up to their 2008 album "Konk", making it their first release in three long years.

The band's signature musical style has grown accustomed to catchy pop hooks and deliciously slick indie-influenced guitar riffs, with peppering of synth and rock melodies, and elements of 60s Britpop with their own contemporary stamp on it. Drawing upon musical influences from all eras and genres, yet still retaining their distinctive signature sound, this album amply displays how this band, like a fine wine, is only getting better with age.
