The Monkees - The Music Box (Reconfigured) CD

"Music Box" is a four disc box set of the best works by the legendary American pop rock band The Monkees, who were put together for the purpose of the hit television show of the same name.

The group hit their peak of fame from 1966-1968 respectively, and have been cited as a major musical influence by many of todays bands and artists due to their feel good pop, catchy hooks and uptempo melodies. This box set features their best hits and most well known songs, such as the iconic anthems that are "The Monkees (Theme)", "Daydream Believer" and "I'm A Believer". Also in this release are rarities and two never before heard, previously unreleased tracks entitled "Of You", which is a 1966 mix, as well as an extended version of "Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow)". Also included is a 96 page booklet that details the complete history of the band, as well as chart info, plenty of photos (some of which have never been seen before), and much more.

This box set has compiled all of the best works and greatest hits performed by the iconic band The Monkees, and is one that all fans will enjoy, both new and old alike. (Cat Emerson)
