    Description

    Release Date: 12 December 2005

This fantastic trilogy contains the three late 80’s albums from the Celt influenced punk group The Pogues. “If I Should Fall From Grace With God” (1988), “Rum, Sodomy and The Lash” (1985) and “Peace and Love” (1989) all contain the characteristic grumbling vocals from lead singer Shane MacGowan and the unique mixture of punk like lyrics with folk based instruments.

This 3CD box set contains plenty of classic Irish hits such as the uptempo track “If I Should Fall from Grace with God”, the more subdued “Misty Morning, Albert Bridge” and the all time Christmas favourite “Fairytale Of New York”, a duet with Kirsty MacColl. – J.D.
