'Sounds From Nowheresville (Deluxe Edition)' is the deluxe version of the eagerly anticipated second studio album by the English musical duo The Ting Tings. This is the follow up to their debut record 'We Started Nothing', which was released in 2008, meaning fans have been waiting four long years for new material.
Filled once more with the catchy, bouncy attitude pop that we have grown to know and love from this pair, 'Sounds From Nowheresville' shows growth musically, whilst still staying true to the distinctive sound that The Ting Tings have developed.
The lead single from this record is 'Hang It Up', an infectious track with definite punk elements infused with an upbeat tempo and lyrics that will get stuck in your head for days. Strong guitar, bass, and drums power this song in to a rock and roll, post-punk revival single, teasing fans as to what they can expect from the album itself.
This deluxe version of 'Sounds From Nowheresville' brings you nine bonus tracks not found on the original edition. These tracks include remixes of album songs, an example of which being the Bag Raiders Remix of the track 'Silence', as well as four seperate and completely revitalising remixes of the lead single 'Hang It Up'. Amongst these are also demo songs, and singles that have didn't make the cut on the original edition of the album. This deluxe edition has compiled nine extra songs that are guaranteed to sate the appetite of all Ting Tings fans. (Cat Emerson)

The English duo The Ting Tings is back with a second album, which has already had a good warm-up last summer on the stages of festivals. With the same recipe as for We Started Now, they develop an energetic pop and dance, which blends with other musical styles. Hip hop is effective on Hang It Up or Guggenheim, indie with Give It Back reminding us of the B-52'S. Add a funky guitar (Hit Me Down Sonny), a reggae rhythm (Soul Killing), a little dance (One By One), you can find anything in this great musical mix.
