Tunng are an experimental folk band who are instantly recognisable from the elements of electronica they incorporate into their wonderful and unique brand of music (often referred to as 'folktronica'). Since their 2005 début album, 'Mother’s Daughter and Other Songs', Tunng have recorded for Rob da Bank, Lauren Lavern, Marc Riley, and other deejays, during BBC radio sessions. 'Live from the BBC' gathers the highlights of these recordings in one fantastic collection.

With a host of warm and magical songs, this compilation show-cases the groups diversity and spontaneity. From the tender 'Jenny Again', and the mystical cover of Bloc Party's 'Pioneers', to the groovy collaboration with desert bluesmen Tinariwen, 'Tamatant Tilay', there really is something for everyone.
