'The Unforgettable Fire' is the fourth studio album by the critically-acclaimed Irish rock band, U2. Originally recorded in Slane Castle in an effort to gain inspiration, the group were able to move in a different direction musically. Hard-hitting rock was mostly replaced with a more ambient and abstract sound.

To celebrate 25 years since its release, this super deluxe edition comes fully remastered with a bonus disc packed with B-sides and previously unreleased material, totalling 16 tracks of U2 rarities. Tracks include 'A Sort of Homecoming (live at Wembley)', and the single version of '4th of July', as well as two previously unheard tracks from the Slane Castle sessions: 'Disappearing Act' and 'Yoshino Blossom'. A bonus DVD containing a documentary and making of, live footage from Band Aid, and various music videos, is also thrown in, as well as a 56-page hardback book containing liner notes by The Edge, Brian Eno, Danny Lanois, and Bert Van de Kamp (Author of 'And They Called Him Bono').
This is a perfect addition to the record collection of any U2 fan or just any fan of great rock music. (John Minard)
