The Old Grey Whistle Test between 1971 and 1987 was a late night television show on BBC2 which focused on the new and interesting figures in the world of music. Indeed many peoples first introduction to such famous figures as Bob Marley and Bruce Springsteen was through this show. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the shows beginning this album has been released featuring tracks including "Trampled Under Foot" by Led Zeppelin, "Cheap Sunglasses" by ZZ Top, "Hurricane" by Bob Dylan and "One Way Or Another" by Blondie.
