The Zoom ‘Unlocked’ 3G 7.2MBPS Tri-Band USB modem allows customers to ‘upgrade’ their service from the lower speed 3.6MBPS typically provided on PAYG (Pay As You Go) offers and therefore enjoy faster connections at the same cost, and with out signing up to a contract!

As Zoom's modem is 'Tri-Band' it will also allow you to 'roam' with your PAYG service where as the majority of modems supplied do not allow/support this. Even when roaming, as the Zoom modem is unlocked, you can still switch providers. This means you can also save money when travelling by avoiding costly "roaming charges" by purchasing a SIM in the country that you are travelling to, AT&T in the US for example.
