101 Dalmatians is the live action re-make of the classic Disney cartoon based on the much loved book by Dodie Smith.
When Roger (Jeff Daniels) and his dalmatian Pongo meet Anita (Joely Richardson) and her dalmatian Perdita, romance blossoms, and the family are soon blessed with 15 Dalmatian puppies.
All is well until the evil Cruella De Vil (Glenn Close) sees the puppies and becomes intent on having them to make the perfect fur coat.
When the puppies are stolen, Pongo and Perdita set out across the city and countryside to get them back, and are helped along the way by all the dogs and other animals they meet, only to be reunited with not 15, but 99 puppies!
102 Dalmatians rejoins the story 3 years later, as Cruella is released from prison, supposedly cured of her lust for fur. As the hynopsis she is under starts to come undone, she plots to make the ultimate fur coat!
