Directed by Sylvia Chang (Tempting Heart), who also co-wrote and stars in the film 20 30 40 is an honest and refreshing look at the modern woman. Xiao Jie (Lee Sinje, The Eye) comes to Taipei in search of a career in pop music, only to find a flirtatious relationship with her singing partner (Kate Yeung, Demi Haunted). Xiang Xiang (Rene Liu, Double Vision) is a flight attendant who has many men in her life, but no one to call her own. Lily (Chang) attempts to overcome an embarrassing divorce by jumping back into the single scene with both feet.
Critically acclaimed and popular with Asian audiences, 20 30 40 is the only Chinese film to be selected for the 2004 Berlin Film Festival.
