After signing her divorce papers Maddie Parker heads off to the airport with her sister and daughters to spend Christmas with her mother. At the airport she bumps into her ex-husband, Mitch (Michael Ontkean) who is on his way to visit his father. When a blizzard hit these two weary travellers discover they have nothing to do - except fall in love again and make their heart-broken children happy once more. As the snow begins to fall outside, could frozen hearts begin to melt?
