Michael Raine (Bret Michaels) is in prison, awaiting execution on death row for the murder of his girlfriend, but did he do it? As he starts to tell his side of the story to the governor's assistant Jessica Foster to be published as a book, he starts finding out that the truth is not what he thought it was, and that Jessica holds the missing piece of the puzzle that may prove his innocence.
