    Hit the Ice
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello get mixed up with gangsters and gunshows in one of their funniest comedies. As would-be newspaper photographers, the boys are mistakenly hired as bank robbers by hospitalised underworld gangster Harry 'Silky' Fellowsby (Sheldon Leonard). Only after the "job" is finished do Bud and Lou realise what they've done, so it's off to the ice skating mecca of Sun Valley to track down Fellowsby and his gang before the police put the boys perilously on ice. This hit features songstress Ginny Simms and Johnny Long and his Orchestra, along with the slapstick chases and burlesque routines that made Abbott and Costello famous.

    Lost in Alaska
As firemen in turn-of-the century San Francisco, Bud and Lou rescue would-be victim Nugget Joe McDermott (Tom Ewell). They learn that McDermott, a gold prospector, is heartbroken over his ex-girl friend, saloon chanteuse Rosette (Mitzi Green) after recently returning from Alaska where he was searching for $2 Million dollars in gold. When Abott and Costello accompany their new friend back to Alaska to help with the search, they're forced to dodge the bullets of McDermott's old enemies, including the pug-ugly Jake Stillman (Bruce Cabot). Finding gold is now the least of their problems.
