World renowned actress Nastassja Kinski heads a talented cast in All Around The Town. Joining Kinski is Stargate's Michael Shanks, Ron Lea of PAX's top-rated series, Doe, Andrea Roth and newcomer Kim Schraner. All Around the Town is the story of Laurie Kinmount (Schraner), a 21-year-old undergraduate student, accused of murdering her English professor, Allan Grant (Kevin Jubinville).
Grant is the husband of travel agent Karen Grant (Kinski), but his popularity among co-eds has been the source of many a quarrel and has recently attracted a series of lurid and descriptive love notes sent to their home. Now Karen fears have been realized. Shanks portrays psychiatrist Justin Donnelly, a friend and colleague of district attorney Sarah Kinmount who attempts to unlock the painful memories her younger sister Laurie has kept repressed. Hypnosis reveals that Laurie suffers from multiple personality syndromes, a consequence of being abused by kidnappers from the age of four to six. It is now suspected that she - or rather one of her alter egos - committed the crime. Investigating the case is the detail conscious detective Brandon Moody (Lea) who leaves no stone unturned. With author Clark's trademark climactic plot twists, the viewer is taken on a journey into the mind of a tortured young woman desperate to free herself of her painful past.
