When Nick (Ice Cube, Barbershop) falls for single mother Suzanne (Nia Long, Big Momma's House), he initially doesn't have to worry about what her kids think of him because she just wants to be "friends". The Persons family leave city life for the wide open country and into their dream home. But when the house starts to fall apart around them, Nick tries to do-it-himself and ends up in over his head.
