Asian Horror Collection DVD

Includes three original classics of the new wave of Asian horror; AUDITION is an art-house cult horror film that sees a man sit in on a number of auditions. One of the women presented so interests him that he takes her telephone number. Later, he rings her and sets up a dinner date. But she is not what she appears. Director Takashi Miike's film begins like a slow-moving romance, but soon changes course with screams and shouts where there had been soft-spoken whispers, with blood and violence that replaces love and longing.

DARK WATER, from the director of the Japanese horror classic RING, Hideo Nakata, comes this equally sinister and edgy ghost story about a mother and daughter whose run down apartment has unexplained damp patches on the walls and ghostly apparitions from a young girl.

THE EYE, directed by twin brothers Danny and Oxide Pang, is a Chinese/Thai horror film that focuses on Mun, a cornea-transplant recipient who has been blind most of her life. As Mun adjusts to her newfound sight, she begins to see haunting visions of dead people. As these terrifying visions become more frequent, Mun turns to a young psychiatrist, Dr. Wah, for help.
