Of his body of work, it is the shows that he did for Thames television in the 1970's for which he is best remembered, with their combination of farce, risque jokes and beautiful ladies. With his 'three stooges': Henry McGee, Bob Todd and Jack Wright, Benny Hill produced a handful of 'specials' every year - all of which were critically acclaimed ratings toppers.
