Detective Lt. Columbo is introduced into the art world, when he is called upon to investigate a complicated case of stolen paintings and murder when powerful art critic Dale Kingston, aided by his young protege, Tracy O'Conner, kill his multimillionaire, greedy art collector uncle, in order to inherit his priceless collection of paintings.
    2: Etude In Black
Columbo has to unravel, a musical murder mystery set around the famous Hollywood Bowl, after brilliant symphony orchestra conductor, Alex Benedict, takes matters into his own hands when his career is threatened by scandal, after his mistress, young and talented concert pianist, Jenefer Welles, threatens to go public and tell his wife of their relationship, who's mother just happened to be 'Patron Of the Arts'.
    3: Candidate for Crime
Campaign manager Harry Stone manufactures a story that senatorial candidate, Nelson Hayward, is the target of a murder plot. Hayward seizes the opportunity to carry out his own murder plan - the cold-blooded killing of Harry Stone - making it look as if he himself was the intended victim.
