The second series finds GP Paul Dangerfield coming to terms with the death of his wife. His life is still dominated by his roles as GP, Police Surgeon and father to two teenage children.
Dangerfield is working with a new female colleague, forensics expert Terri Morgan, on a set of intriguing cases. These include the death of a suspected drugs dealer in police custody, the discovery of a mystery skeleton and a vicious stalker on Joanna's trail. Meanwhile, in his private life he must face another family tragedy and a new young woman in his life - Adriana, a wounded Bosnian orphan. However, could the allure of Doctor Joanna Stevens break the morose exterior of this passionate workaholic?
