Life at The King Alfred Dental Hospital is going all wrong for final year student David (Bob Monkhouse). He has to treat his first live patients in a couple of days, he's made the big mistake of falling in love with the Dean's niece Peggy (Peggy Cummins) - and he may just have made Britain's 'Most Wanted' list!
It all started when bungling small time crook Sammy Field (Kenneth Connor) accidentally robbed a dental supply store. He convinced David that the instruments he stole were bankrupt stock - and David innocently helped him sell them to his fellow students. Now David's an accessory to robbery - and has to disguise Sam as a fellow dental student in the college while he tries to set everything straight! No wonder he's looking so down in the mouth!
