Don't Ring the Doorbell stars Lee Grant and Carol Kane as sisters sharing the home of their recently deceased father. Ellen (Lee Grant) is left to care for her younger sister Cissy (Carol Kane), a virtual hermit, with a declining mental state. When David (James Olson), Ellen's co-worker and new boyfriend drops by to get some insight into the family he uncovers Cissy's strange murderous behaviour.
