Set against the turbulent backdrop of Belfast in the 1980's two unlikely business partners, the Catholic Colm (Barry McEvoy) and Protestant George (Brian F. O' Byrne) Convince a criminally insane wig salesman, known as 'The Scalper' , played by the highly entertaining Billy Connolly (Mrs. Brown), to sell them his inside information on the wig industry. The pair then set out to corner the incredibly competitive toupe market using whatever means necessary to make their venture a roaring success.
