Foyle's War Addict
I started watching this programme a few weeks ago, just as the series was about to finish - and was sorry to discover that I had missed about fifteen episodes. I found them so good and such compulsive viewing that I immediately ordered the box set . They are so well written, and so gently acted by all the cast, that one feels as though you are the only person watching them. I was delighted to hear today that having cancelled the series a few years ago someone has decided to resurrect it for three more episodes, bringing in espionage but still maintaining the war-time atmosphere, I understand. I was born right at the end of the war, but always find a series like this seems to explain what it was like - giving me an idea of what I missed.
