George (Sid James) is a chauffeur-cum-dogsbody in the household of Colonel Maynard (John Le Mesurier) who can't recruit a housekeeper because George can't keep his hands to himself. George has a plan to get his cousin the vacancy but is caught unawares when Gabrielle Dragon (Peggy Mount) arrives and tells him firmly that she has been engaged and means to stay.
