Description

The Day Of The Devil
A dangerous mental patient, John Barrie, has escaped from a high-security hospital. Barrie is a master of disguise who sets up an elaborate and deadly battle of wits with Morse as the Oxford police engage in a manhunt.
Twilight Of The Gods
Businessman Andrew Baydon is donating a controversial new college building to Oxford. Morse and Lewis are already making inquiries into the murder of a freelance journalist. An honorary procession for Braydon is abruptly cut short with the shooting of one of the guests.
