    Description

    Release Date: 21 February 2005

Super sleuth Inspector Morse (John Thaw - Goodnight Mister Tom and Kavanagh Q.C.) has an ear for music, a taste for beer and a nose for crime. He sets out with Sergeant Lewis (Kevin Whatley - Peak Practice) to solve each intriguing case.

    Dead On Time
When an elderly don apparently commits suicide, Inspector Morse is called in and finds he has a deep personal involvement in the case. The wife of the dead man, Henry Fallon, is Susan, the woman Morse was once engaged to many years previously.

    Happy Families
Sir John Balcombe, head of Curzon Industries - one of Britain's largest privately owned companies - is found murdered at his home. The Balcombe Family, however, show no signs of grief and seem more concerned with the future of the business. Then a second murder occurs.

    The Death Of The Self
An Englishwoman dies while attending an expensive psychotherapy course in Italy. The Italian verdict is accidental death, but a British inquest questions the decision and it's up to Morse and Lewis to discover the truth.

    Absolute Conviction
Crooked eighties entrepreneurs Bailey, Thornton and Cryer are all serving sentences in the same prison. Morse and Lewis are called in after Cryer is discovered dead in his cell.

    Cherubim & Seraphim
Tragedy strikes Morse with the suicide of his step-niece. The Chief Inspector takes compassionate leave but begins searching for reasons in his step-niece's past.
