Juste Une Question d'Amour (Just a Question of Love) is a moving tale that tackles the problems associated with coming out and the complicated journey towards acceptance and tolerance from love ones.
Laurent is a 23-year-old student who is open about being gay to everyone, except his family. He shares a flat with a female friend who he uses as an alibi to avoid questions about his private life. Already a difficult situation, this double life becomes unbearable when Laurent falls in love with Cedric, who has lived his life as a gay man for many years and adamantly refuses to live in anyone's closet.
On January 26th 2000, over 6.3 million viewers saw Juste Une Question d'Amour... on its first broadcasting by France Television, France's public TV network. Ambitious and courageous, this film is the first to truly break the taboo of homosexuality on TV.
