"The Lucky Dog" was made in 1917 and starred Stan Laurel, who had recently changed his name from Stanley Jefferson. Also appearing in the film was Babe Hardy, who would later become Oliver.
Nearly 15 years after that first film, the power of their pairing was evident in this film made in 1931 and based around a single getting dressed gag. The Duo's remarkable talent and comic versatility provide the picture some great laughs.
