Two classic films starring comedy duo Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. In 'March of the Wooden Soldiers' (1934), Laurel and Hardy inhabit the fantastic Mother Goose-based Toyland as employees of Santa Claus. Thanks to their bumbling but good-hearted efforts, Bo-Peep is saved from a disastrous marriage, her true love is spared exile and the evil Barnaby is banished forever. 'Utopia' (1951) is Laurel and Hardy's last film together. On their way to an inherited island, Stan and Ollie, along with refugee cook Antoine (Max Elloy) and bricklayer Giovanni (Adriano Rimoldi), are shipwrecked, washing ashore on a newly formed atoll. After leading an idyllic life, their fortunes soon change for the worse when uranium is discovered, prompting an international scramble for the rights. The release also includes three silent shorts filmed before Laurel and Hardy were teamed up.
