Soap Powder salesman Sid Gibson’s business isn’t going as well as he would like and decides that what he needs is TV advertising. But he knows that for TV advertising you need cash, and lots of it! But he is broke. He turns to his friend Arthur Ashton who arranges to sneak a plug of Sid’s brand into a live TV spectacular. This works out great and there is an instant public demand for 'Sid’s Suds’. The only problem now is that to maintain sales they must sneak as many more plugs as they can. But will they get caught?
