    Release Date: 13 June 2005

Neel (Ajay Devgan) is a grown-up man with the brain of a seven year-old child. Innocent and kind, Neel is loved by everyone. Through his eyes, he sees the world as a place without evil. This, he shares with his daughter Gungun whom he loves beyond imagination. The rest of his private world is made up of his landlady and a bookstore where he works. Gungun's mother, Maya Trivedi (Esha) abandoned the child and Neel, shortly after giving birth. A secret that she has kept from her family. So, for seven years, Neel and Gungun just had each other for comfort. But, on the eve of Gungun's seventh birthday, Neel's father-in-law, Dayanath, finds out that he has a granddaughter. His first meeting with Neel does not go well, and Dayanath files a lawsuit to gain custody of the child. As Neel's world shatters around him, his decision to search for the best lawyer in town lands him at the office of Neeti Khanna (Sushmita Sen). Divorced, ambitious but with a son whom she inadvertently de-prioritises to the point of neglect, Neeti is a far cry from the role model for Neel's case. Viewing the complex world with the simplicity of Neel's mind. This is a beautiful tale of a father and daughter and all the lives they Touch. This is a story about love.
